    Brain Performance and Psychology Center is a group neuropsychology, psychology, and psychotherapy practice seeking full-time licensed or license-eligible counselors and psychologists who enjoy assisting children, adolescents and/or adults. Our growing private practice currently includes 2 neuropsychologists, 3 psychologists, 2 licensed therapists, a psychometrist, and practicum students. We currently provide neuropsychological and psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults. Due to a high volume of referrals, we are currently seeking to fill multiple new positions, including the following:

    Early Career Psychologist/ Post-Doctoral Fellow

    (Focus on Police, Fire, Military, and Public Safety)

    Our practice presently works a variety of departments including various police departments, fire departments, military individuals and other public safety offices. This position will primarily focus on the evaluation of applicants to the police academy, but will also include experiences in assessment of those who have experienced an acute incident in the force to ensure their safety as well as the public’s safety before returning to their work placement. 

    Supervision and training will be provided to ensure that individuals are well-supported. Additional opportunity is available for therapy experience with this population as well.

    Trauma Focused Therapist

    In addition to providing assessments for those in the line of duty, our practice will also provide trauma focused therapy for individuals who have served in the line of duty and have experienced a traumatic/acute event while protecting the general public. It is preferred that applicants are license eligible and have experience in EMDR, Prolonged Exposure, and working with individuals who have experienced traumatic events. (Seeking Master’s Level and/or Doctoral Level Clinicians)

    General Practice and Child/Adolescent Focused Therapists

    Due to a high volume of referrals, we are currently seeking psychologists and counselors with a therapeutic focus to expand our services and decrease our wait times. Typical referrals for therapy include dementia, stroke, concussion, epilepsy, ADHD, mood disorders, and other complex medical issues (e.g., genetic disorders). We receive referrals with a variety of needs including CogMed, social skills intervention, stress management, family treatment, as well as couples and marriage therapy. We are seeking colleagues who are driven, compassionate, and have an interest in providing quality, therapeutic treatment to our patients and their families. (Seeking Master’s Level and/or Doctoral Level Clinicians)

    Required Qualifications:

    • Has an interest in working in a private practice setting
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to work as part of a team when needed
